The first was "Principal Pale Ale", an American-style pale ale to celebrate AMH's winning of the principal flute position of the Utica Symphony Orchestra. The following week, I brewed an Extra Special Bitter to celebrate the visit of Steve. I'll keep you posted on how they turn out (I anticipate pretty frickin sweet and not in a malty sense, though the ESB may turn out that way).

All-grain homebrews #1 and #2
Brewed my first all-grain beer two weeks ago and everything seems to have gone well so far.

The first was "Principal Pale Ale", an American-style pale ale to celebrate AMH's winning of the principal flute position of the Utica Symphony Orchestra. The following week, I brewed an Extra Special Bitter to celebrate the visit of Steve. I'll keep you posted on how they turn out (I anticipate pretty frickin sweet and not in a malty sense, though the ESB may turn out that way).
